To achieve a smooth shave, start by wetting the area you intend to shave. Spread a small amount of shaving cream onto your palm (or on a brush, or in a bowl) and spread it evenly in a thin layer across the skin, masssaging it into a lather. Using a sharp razor, carefully shave in the direction of hair growth to minimize irritation. Rinse to remove any remaining cream.
